background    Think Link Discovery Center was founded in 1995. Think Link is a non-profit community resource that provides a variety of novel, dynamic, thought-provoking educational experiences to expand curiosity, creativity, inventiveness and global awareness in the humanities, arts, and sciences through hands-on educational experiences. Think Link is legally established as a tax exempt charitable organization under the nonprofit 501(c)(3) provisions of the Internal Revenue Service Code.

who are we?    Think Link is operated by experienced teachers, parents and community members who believe that the successful future of our nature and world is dependent upon decision making by creative, curious, inventive and ethical minds able to solve problems in dynamic and innovative ways.

what do we do?    Think Link provides opportunities for instructors and volunteers to focus their expertise, creativity, energy and time to develop and nurture a sense of wonder through:

    (we've done rock climbing, spinning & weaving, fly tying, field biology studies, creative writing, inventing, painting, pottery making, investing, origami, and much more)

facilities    Located in the recently renovated historic Lindsay House, Think Link has become a center for classes, meetings, birthday parties and interactive events, as well as a staging point for off-site field trips and other learning experiences.

Our educational toy and book store is located on the main floor of the Lindsay House.

We are always open between 3:00pm and 5:00pm, Monday through Friday, to welcome guests and visitors, display our theme exhibits, and provide information to the general public. Admission is 50¢ per child and $1 per adult.

community    We believe we must strengthen the bonds within the community across generations, needs, interests and occupations. To this end, we strive to:
  • bridge our community to the larger world
  • provide community service opportunities for middle school and high school students
  • serve as a headquarters in the community to help families network and learn about activities offered by other organizations in the region
how can you help?    Community members and businesses are encouraged to:
  • donate or help construct interactive displays
  • volunteer to teach or assist with classes and workshops
  • provide locations or guidance for field trips or other activities
  • serve on an advisory committee
